Technical Editing

Joanne is an experienced technical editor having worked for multiple magazines, yarn companies and independent designers. She is not currently taking on any clients for technical editing.

Collaboration

We are always open to interesting mutually beneficial collaborations with yarn companies, designers and shops. Please contact us with a brief proposal at info@thecrochetproject.com in the first instance.

We get many offers of yarn support but tend not to accept them as we prefer to pay yarn companies, especially independent dyers, for their work.

PR approaches can be made to info@thecrochetproject.com but please bear in mind that we do not typically do sponsored posts or create advertising content.

Hiring

We are not currently hiring for any positions or seeking freelance help.

Affiliates

We run a small affiliate program for our course and membership site. If you have a strong craft following that you believe would be interested in what we do you could earn money by recommending it. Please get in touch on info@thecrochetproject.com for more details.

Influencers

We don't currently hire influencers to promote our products but if you have a blog or social media platform that you use to talk about crochet and would like a pattern, book or class gifted to you for honest review then please get in touch via info@thecrochetproject.com

Inclusive Sizing

All of our patterns are sized from XS to 5X. We also include guidance within our patterns for altering to fit different body shapes. And if that's not enough, check out our free guide to making garments that fit.

Charted and Written Patterns

We included charts and written instructions in all our patterns. Unsure about reading a chart? No worries. Check out our guide.

Help When You Need It

We have a bustling Facebook Group that is full of folks who have made our patterns (sometimes many times over!!) and are always willing to help get you going when you are stuck!

Here is some more information about buying from The Crochet Project.

How do I download PDF Patterns?

Our books and patterns are sold as PDF downloads, you will be sent an email to download the file to the email address you enter in the shipping information. Simply click the link to download it to your device.

Can I add PDF patterns to Ravelry?

Yes! You can add your purchase to your Ravelry library for safe keeping. Details of how to do that are here.

Can I print PDF patterns?

Yes! You may print the PDF out at home or take it to a print shop to print a copy for yourself.

Do you sell printed patterns?

Yes! A selection of our books are available to buy in print. Print orders are fulfilled using a print on demand service that takes around 10 days to 2 weeks to ship.
