Just one 100g skein of 4ply makes a nice long crescent-shaped scarf for wrapping with a pretty puff stitch detail.
We planned for the pooling on a skein of Socka from Sparkleduck but it will work well with self-stripings and highly variegated yarns, too.
Size
Wingspan: 165cm/65in
Depth: 23cm/9in
Length is easily adjusted by working more or fewer rows. A deeper scarf can be achieved by working more repeats in the setup section. Altering the size alters the yarn required.

20 sts and 16 rows in pattern to 10cm/4in using 4.5mm hook (or size needed to achieve tension)
