Materials 
1x 50g skein Quince and Co. Tern (4ply, 75% wool, 25% silk, 202m/221y/50g) each in: 
Col A - Petrol
Col B - Beach Glass
Col C - Kelp
Col D - Stonington 
5mm (US H/8) crochet hook

Tension 
Each motif measures 15cm/6in x 30cm/12in using 5mm hook (or size 
needed to achieve tension)

Difficulty Rating 
Easy

Skills Needed 
Basic crochet stitches, working in rows, increasing, joining motifs on.

Construction 
Starts at the bottom with 3 adjoining motifs and then builds up in rows 
from there. The motifs are joined as you go, with outer edges using foundation stitches where there is no motif to work into. Please use the schematic for colour and motif placement.

This pattern is charted and written using standard UK crochet terminology (with US conversions given in the abbreviations)

Not easy, but going to be lovely

I chose this pattern because of the "easy" rating. I'm self-taught and have only been crocheting for a year.
There is a mis-placed * in the foundation directions which took me a long time to work out, but someone with experience wouldn't even notice.
The directions for joining motifs are not really clear for a new crocheter, so a diagram or link to video would be helpful.
But, it has been building up beautifully, even if I might have to fnd another way to join the motifs.
I love the patterns from this group, and am looking forward to my next project from here!
