  • 1x 100g skein Eden Cottage Yarns Carlisle Fingering (4ply weight, 100% superwash merino singles, 100g/400m/436yds) in Thunder (Col A) 
  • 20g skeins Eden Cottage Yarns Carlisle Fingering Minis (4ply weight, 100% superwash merino singles, 20g/80m/87yds) one each in 
    • Col B: 1x 20g skein in Wild Raspberry 
    • Col C: 1x 20g skein in Dusk 
    • Col D: 1x 20g skein in Pennine Mist 
    • Col E: 1x 20g skein in Steel 
  • 4mm hook (US G) hook 
  • 1 stitch marker

Tension 
21 sts and 12 rows in alternating rows of tr in BLO and dc to 10cm/4in using 4mm hook (or size needed to obtain tension)

Beautiful shawl-lots of colour options

I completed this shawl as part of the mystery crochet along. The result is a fascinating shawl which combines stripes and pattern variations. There are so many possibilities to play with different colour options. As always the pattern is very clearly written with helpful charts and diagrams.

Very wearable

I really enjoyed this pattern, the ripples look amazing and it was very easy to follow. I used autumn colours so this gets worn from September onwards

Beautiful, interesting pattern

I've made this shawl twice - once for me using Riverknits yarn and once for my mum using yarn that I dyed myself. I loved making it - the pattern is varied and interesting and the shawl is a really practical shape that is easy to wear. As always the pattern is well written and easy to follow and depending on the yarn you use there's so much scope for making it lots of times and it looking completely different each time :)
