  • 1x 115g skeins Fyberspates Vivacious DK (DK,100% Merino Superwash Wool 230m/251yds) in Spiced Plum
  • 4.5mm (US 7) hook

Tension
17 sts and 10 rows in linked treble crochet (see special stitches) to 10 cm/4 in using 4.5 mm hook (or size needed to achieve tension)

Construction
The mittens start at the top, with a chain where linked stitches are worked into both sides to create an oval shape, with increases worked at each side. The seam on these mittens contains an increase and decrease to minimize the unsightly traveling join that can happen with this stitch.
