Materials
-
1 50g skein Coop Knits Socks Yeah! (4ply, 75% fine superwash merino wool, 25%nylon, 212m/231yds/50g) in each of:
- Col A: Lapis (125)
- Col B: Topaz (113)
-
Col C: Sphene (104)
-
3mm hook (US D)
- 2 removable stitch markers
The yarn should ideally be a wool nylon blend for strength, elasticity, and breathability, but a hardy high-twist wool designed for socks would also work. This pattern lends itself well to using up smaller scraps. 150g total will make a large adult pair, smaller sizes will require less yarn. Recommend at least three colors for the pattern although a self-striping yarn would also work nicely. Colors are used in fairly even amounts.
Tension
23 sts and 20 rows in htr to 10cm/4in using 3mm hook (or size needed to achieve tension)
